DESCRIPTION

Powerway CT31 Disc Brake Road Wheels - Good Quality Carbon Wheelset For Training

Considering the cost of DT Swiss hubs increases quickly, and lead time is getting longer and longer, ProX has introduced Powerway hubs into our product line (model 31DB). 

Powerway CT31 road disc brake hubs are made in Taiwan, with stable quality and great performance. 

If you like Taiwan made Powerway hubs, CT31 is good option for road disc brake.


ProX provides two width option for our 31DB disc brake carbon road wheels. That is, 28mm width carbon clincher rims, and 25mm width carbon rims clincher.

The 28mm width rim series (model PRD28) is with 28mm outer (21mm inner) width.

For such wide road rims, the optimized aerodynamics tire size is 700*28C. If you plan to use 28C (or wider) tire, PRD28 rim series is recommended.

The 25mm width rim series (model PRD25) is with 25mm outer (18mm inner) width.

For such wide road rims, the optimized aerodynamics tire size is 700*25C. If you plan to use 25C tire, PRD25 rim series is recommended.

Premium Toray T700 + T800 carbon fiber are used in our carbon rims. 

Combining with stable resin system to make consistent quality and light weight carbon bicycle rims.

By using well designed lay-up structure, mixing Toray T700 and T800 carbon prepreg, light weight carbon rims are created.

Excessive materials are eliminated to save weight, while extra materials are added around spoke hole for reinforcement.

So, light weight is achieved without compromise in strength or stiffness.

Relatively narrow 18mm inner width, make it possible to fit multiple sizes of tire.

Normally road tire size 700x25C and 700x28C are recommended (also fit other wider tires).

Wide U Shape road carbon rims are more aerodynamic than traditional V Shape road rims. 

It is also of better stiffness and strength.

Tubeless tire is getting popular in road bicycle wheels thanks to its better traction, lower rolling resistance and better riding comfort.

All our carbon clincher rims are tubeless ready (also fit normal tube tires).

Optimized anti-burp bump design provides easy tire mounting, dismounting, as well as air inflation.

Xiamen ProX Carbon Technology Co., Ltd. set up factory in Xiamen City (Fujian Province, China) in 2010. At the beginning, we manufactured all kinds of customized carbon fiber products according to customers’ demand, including carbon bike rims, carbon tubes, carbon drone body shell, etc. Since 2012, we decided to focus on main products - carbon bike rims. In 2012, we built full range carbon road rims with 20.5mm width. In 2014, we built full range carbon road rims with 23mm width. In 2015, we built full range carbon road rims with 25mm width. In 2016, we introduced product line for BMX carbon rims, as well as fatbike carbon rims. In 2018, we introduced product line for MTB carbon rims (both symmetric and asymmetric design). During the same year, we set up wheel building workshop, and started to build carbon wheelset in-house. In 2019, we added 28mm width carbon road rims into our product line (both rim brake and disc brake). Besides, we created gravel carbon rims. During the same year (2019), LightCarbon (China leading carbon frame manufacturer) visited us. After several trial order for testing, they were very satisfied with our quality. Eventually, LightCarbon invested our facotry, and we build close business relationship. ProX supply carbon rims and carbon wheelset to LightCarbon, and LightCarbon supply carbon frameset and components to ProX. Since then, both ProX and LightCarbon are able to supply carbon rims, carbon wheels and carbon frameset, with same factory price. So it is convenient for customers to do one-stop purchasing.
