For BMX carbon rims, strength should come first.
ProX provides two sizes of 20 inch BMX carbon rims, 23mm and 25mm inner width. Both of them are with ETRTO 406mm. They can be used for BMX bikes as well as folding bikes.
Both models are made from high strength Toray T700 carbon fiber + stable resin system, which is the basis to guarantee strength.
In addition, we optimize the lay-up design, make our BMX carbon rims much thicker than road rims, to make sure they are strong enough for jumping.
We do strict impact testing for our carbon BMX rims, make sure they are able to tolerate great force coming from jumping and keep riders safe.

ERD*
Effective Rim Diameter (ERD) is the maximum distance that spokes need to bridge going from one end of the rim to another. How do we calculate the ERD of our rims? The corresponding equation and a drawing is as shown:
ERD=OD-(rim depth)*2+(rim thickness)*2
For example：
ERD of B32-25-Z406 rim=418mm-25mm*2+3.5mm*2=375mm
Most people prefer ERD including the length of the nipple cap. However, customers may use different nipples and components for building. Please add the height of the nipple cap(2.5mm~3mm generally) for your spoke calculation. If the height of the nipple cap is 3mm, then ERD of your B32-25-Z406 rim is 375mm+3mm*2=381mm
