It's no secret that e-bike is heavier than regular bike. How do the e-bikes work? Putting strong power into e-bike wheels to get up to speed and with high forces again to slow them down. So ProX has "upbuilt" the eMTB wheels to better handle the extra abuse.
OEM ProX E810 hubs are with steel freehub body, steel bearings and steel thru axle sleeve of hub, which is built into wide profile Ebike/Enduro/Downhill rims. The steel freehub is significantly more durable and the ideal solution for heavy or aggressive riders in particular. The regular MTB wheels is only 120kg/265lb generally on max weight limit. There is even no problem for a 140kg/308lb rider to use this wheelset. Electric mountain bikes place high demands on wheels and place unique stresses on wheels. ProX carbon produce a range of E-bike specific rims in a variety of widths(37/38/40mm) and have taken the knowledge of selected hub manufacturer in Taiwan.
In addition, E810 hub can be made with your customized logo (either etch logo or make stickers). So it will become your own brand hubs!

Asymmetric Design
Asymmetric design mtb rims help to make wheelset with more even spoke tension between drive side and non-drive side. MTB carbon wheelset built with asymmetric rims are of better stiffness and stability. The spoke tension on such wheelset will not get loose easily, lower frequency for re-truing is needed.

Hookless Design Compared to bead hook rims, the sidewalls of hookless rims are thicker and stronger, providing better impact resistance. Straight bead provides more stance for tire. Tires will not be squeezed in bead as it was, which makes it less "light bulb effect". Thus, the tire/rim engagement is more stable, more difficult to be blown out under strong impact, which is important for carbon mountain bike rims.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tire has been the mainstream of mountain bike carbon wheelset thanks to its better traction, lower rolling resistance and better riding comfort. All our carbon clincher rims are tubeless ready (also fit normal tube tires). Optimized anti-burp bump design provides easy tire mounting, dismounting, as well as air inflation.

Hand Built All our carbon wheelsets are hand built by experienced mechanician. Based on customers’ demand, various choice of hubs, spokes and nipples are optional. After wheel built, they are trued precisely at high standard (≤0.3mm) on roundness, lateral and center tolerance.

ProX E810 Hubs ProX E810 hubs are used. The materials for freehub body, bearings andthru axle sleeve of hub are with steel which will be much stronger than regular hub. E810 MTB boost hubs are with stable quality and competitive price. 15*110/12*148 boost spacing, with both 12-speed (Sram XD, Shimano MicroSpline) and 11-speed freehub optional.

Sapim Race Spokes The popular double butted Sapim Race spokes are used. Sapim Race spoke is less torsion and elasticity, which makes it easier to build up tension. Its thinner middle section provides better shock absorption (compared to non-butted spokes).
