Built for modern road performance, the ProX C53DB carbon wheelset combines lightweight construction, fast 54T ratchet engagement, and smooth ceramic bearings to deliver efficient power transfer and responsive acceleration. Paired with Sapim CX-Ray spokes and a modern wide rim profile, this wheelset offers an ideal balance of low weight, stiffness, and aerodynamic efficiency for demanding road riders.
A lightweight hub shell paired with Sapim CX-Ray spokes keeps rotational weight low, helping riders accelerate faster and climb more efficiently. Lower rotating mass means quicker response every time you push on the pedals.
Moreover, the C53DB hub features a clean, compact shell design that balances weight reduction with structural strength.
The 54-tooth ratchet system provides rapid engagement for instant power transfer. Whether sprinting, attacking on climbs, or exiting corners, the hub responds immediately to every pedal stroke.
Compared to traditional ratchet designs generally with two springs, this C53DB rear hub applies only one spring which reduces complexity while keeping performance reliable. Its modular and fewer-part structure offer easy maintenance and servicing.
It also performs well with tires wider than 32C, making it ideal for endurance road riding and mixed road conditions.

Light Weight By using well designed lay-up structure, mixing Toray T700 and T800 carbon prepreg, light weight carbon rims are created. Hand Built All our bicycle carbon wheels are hand built by experienced mechanician. Based on customers’ demand, various choice of hubs, spokes and nipples are optional. After wheel built, they are trued precisely at high standard (≤0.3mm) on roundness, lateral and center tolerance.
