The strength has been further improved in the latest DT swiss 240 road hubs. In the latest Ratchet EXP system, 36 teeth ratchet improves power transfer efficiency, helps to shorten acceleration time. The bearing distance has been slightly increased to prolong the lifetime of bearings. Simplified end-caps design for tool-free disassembly and easy maintenance.
Gravel carbon wheels built with DT240 EXP hubs are ideal for racing.
Cyclocross and gravel carbon wheels demand versatility and durability. ProX gravel bike carbon wheels are designed with 26mm inner width rims, which is suitable for gravel tires with size 700*35C-50C. The 40/45/50mm rim height options strikes a compelling balance for mixed-terrain adventures.

Choosing the right rim height depends on riding style and terrain:
40mm: Ideal for technical, unpredictable terrain. The lower profile prioritizes agility, weight savings, and crosswind stability. Perfect for riders tackling steep climbs or twisty singletrack.
45mm: A versatile middle ground. Balances aerodynamic gains compared to 40mm rim , and with moderate weight. It suits riders mixing paved gravel terrain.
50mm: Maximizes aerodynamic efficiency for fast-paced gravel races or rolling terrain. Slightly heavier on weight but offers noticeable speed retention on smoother surfaces.
