ProX 61DB Road Bike Undulating Wheelset with Carbon Spokes - Affordable Price!

Considering the hight price of lightweight carbon spoke wheels in the current market, ProX has developed the affordable undulating wheels with carbon spokes. It's not the cheapest wheels in the market, but reliable quality and reasonable price. An Idea fit for regular trainning and daily commuting.

ProX 61DB disc brake road carbon wheels feature cool and unique carbon spokes (only 2.9g/pc!). Such carbon spokes (model CS1) is lighter but stronger than regular steel spokes. The carbon spokes look similar as regular spoke, except for the carbon fiber material and ultra light weight. The weight of our CS1 carbon spoke plus specific aluminum nipple is only 3.2g, which is about 1.8g lighter than well-known Sapim CX-Ray spoke with nipple. More than anything, the carbon spoke provides both higher stiffness and better fatigue life compared to the traditional steel spokes.
ProX 61DB road disc brake hubs are with straight pull spoke system, with 2:1 (that is 14:7) spoke ratio for both front and rear wheel. 2:1 spoke ratio provides better strength balance between drive side and non-drive side. The weight of hubs is only 367g/pair. Hub is designed with 3-pawl freehub system, featuring straight pull and regular steel bearings.

ProX 61DB road bike hubs for carbon spoke wheels

For 26mm wide Undulating Road Disc series rim, it is in two depth option of 45/50mm and 53/58mm. For 28mm wide rim, the varied rim depth option is 30/35mm, 45/50mm and 60/65mm .This design is for better aero performance and crosswind stability. It allow the riders to handle the bike better especially in the wind. The rim has a hook bead design and is tubeless compatible. Tubeless tires can make a good performance at lower tire pressure for reduced rolling resistance and contribute to all out speed.
Standard weight version (without "SL") carbon rim is made from Toray T700 carbon fiber which is the basis to make high strength bike carbon rims. The max rider weight limit is 120kg/265lb.
Super light weight version (with "SL") carbon rim is made from premium Toray T800 carbon fiber to achieve super light weight, which is more suitable for lighter weight riders (max weight limit 100kg/220lb). 
Such new undulating rim depth carbon rims help to minimize wind drag and improve stability in crosswinds obviously. It will bring you a faster and more confident riding experience.
ProX decal/logo is offered for free as showed in ProX decal page. The decal will be applied on the rim and do the matte or glossy finish according to customers' preference. You can choose either with such gold ProX decal or simply without decal (UD black matte or UD black glossy finish).

In addition, 61DB hubs can be made with your customized logo (either etch logo or make stickers). So it will become your own brand hubs!

Excessive materials are eliminated to save weight, while extra materials are added around spoke hole for reinforcement.

Relatively wide 19mm/21mm inner width, make it possible to fit multiple sizes of tire.

Normally road tire size 700x25C and 700x28C are recommended (also fit other wider tires).

61DB road disc brake hubs are designed with 3-pawl freehub system with steel bearings. Such hubs can also be etched with your customized logo. 12*100/12*142 thru-axle, with Shimano 11/12 speed or SRAM XDR 12 speed cassette body.

Xiamen ProX Carbon Technology Co., Ltd. set up factory in Xiamen City (Fujian Province, China) in 2010. During the same year (2019), LightCarbon (China leading carbon frame manufacturer) visited us. After several trial order for testing, they were very satisfied with our quality. ProX supply carbon rims and carbon wheelset to LightCarbon, and LightCarbon supply carbon frameset and components to ProX.
