Compared to regular spoke wheels, full disc wheels are relatively heavier, but they are outstanding in aerodynamics and stiffness which are critical for TT bikes and Track bikes. When typical full disc rear wheels in the market still weighed around 1200–1300g, ProX took the lead by launching an ultra light full disc rear wheel weighing only about 970g! A new carbon disc wheel engineered for Time Trial, Triathlon, and Track bikes racing, with UD naked carbon finish, 36T ratchet freehub, ceramic bearings, and optimized wide-rim aerodynamics.

ProX Carbon had taken it to the next new level in terms of rim finish. Non-paint (paintless) finish become one of the choices. They feature the latest manufacturing technology and are the completed product when come out of rim molds directly, eliminating the need for coating or painting. Such carbon rims are of better scratch resistant, with natural carbon weave visible. Non-paint looks more premium to match the carbon bike than common black matte finish. No paint, premium carbon look, pure performance.

27mm outer width is a perfect choice to follow latest popular tendency in the carbon bike market. 21mm inner 27mm outer width, optimized aerodynamics for 700x28C tires.

The valve hole is on the non-drive side and comes with a sticker. It keeps the valve clean and of better looking. The most important benefit is to reduce wind resistance and noise.

Good quality OEM PX hub is made by well selected hub manufacturer in Taiwan. It is designed with ratchet 36T freehub system which improves power transfer efficiency, combining with ceramic bearings, the rolling resistance is minimized. Such hub helps you to shorten acceleration time and save energy. Ceramic bearings are smoother, rounder and with more uniform size. In that case, the friction is reduced and that can contribute more energy to the wheels. Ceramic bearing is also harder than steel bearings (up to 30%), which improves durability, and they also don’t rust for less maintenance. All of them are center lock disc brake, Shimano 11/12s or SRAM 12s XDR freehub available.
